Gottino in the West Village partnered with TapIt as a part of it's eco-friendly transition this week. A year and a half into their existence, they are taking great measures to be an environmentally responsible eatery. They hired Max Poglia, a green designer, who is revamping the place. Gottino offers organic wines; uses real cork instead of environmentally-harmful alternatives; and, of course, serves tap water to avoid those wasteful plastic bottles. Ask at the counter to refill your bottle with their filtered tap water.
Find out more about Gottino at their blog, 'I Love Gottino', featuring a new post about TapIt.
