If there is anything to make New York decision makers change their minds about allowing gas drilling in the Catskill watershed, this should be it. In
the current segment of the ongoing documentary, 'Water Under Attack'
about natural gas drilling's effect on our water supply, the filmmaker
Josh Fox, found residents in Colorado were able to light their tap
water on fire.
After tests were done, it was confirmed (no
surprise) that the water was severely contaminated with natural gas and
other chemicals due to a nearby gas drilling operation. This gas company and local regulators have not yet
solved the problem. Residents are trying to cope with the situation (See the video below).
